Nicholas P. Petredis is Of Counsel to the Firm. Nick has been a Martindale Hubble AV – rated attorney for over 10 years. He was initially admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania, then California Bar in 1990. Nick is admitted to practice before the following courts: the District of New Jersey; the Northern and Southern District Courts of California; the United States Court of Appeal; as well as the 9th Circuit.
Nick is a business attorney who in effect, acts as your in house general counsel. He strives for efficient and cost effective legal solutions in every matter. While his practice focuses on commercial real estate, corporate and commercial law matters, his expertise includes: formation and operation of corporations, LLC’s and partnerships; commercial contracts, commercial leasing, land use entitlements, real property development, environmental law, intellectual property matters, administrative/regulatory law, and employment law.
Nick earned his B.A. in Political Science from Salem College, M.A. in Planning and Public Administration from Pepperdine University and was awarded a J.D. from Temple University School of Law. Of note, after undergraduate and before attending law school, Nick was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps serving as a Naval Aviator. He was also his squadron’s Legal Officer and as such was responsible for and familiar with all UCMJ matters. Nick is also a California Real Estate Broker, but he does not operate in that capacity in his legal representation.

Pro Bono Activities
O’Neill Sea Odyssey – Formed a nonprofit [501(c)3] foundation that has educated over 75,000 middle school students on the sea in the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, and currently serves on its Board of Directors as Secretary.
The Track & Field Foundation – President of a [503(c)4] nonprofit corporation that was the Local Organizing Committee for the U.S. Track & Field Open and the 2002 and 2003 U.S. Outdoor National Track & Field Championships held at Stanford University. The foundation acted as the U.S. Candidate for the 2009 and 2011 IAAF Word Championship of Athletics.
San Jose Medical Research Foundation – Member of the Board of Directors of a medical research foundation.
Joint Community Relations Committee for the Palo Alto Airport – Past Chair and Palo Alto City Appointee.
Silicon Valley Association of Software Entrepreneurs – Formed a nonprofit [501(c)6] association of software entrepreneurs and served as an Advisory Board Member.
